Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of the terms

By accessing or using the VARDER platform (hereinafter, "the Service"), available at varder.co, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of the Service

VARDER is a SaaS appointment management platform for beauty and wellness businesses (barbershops, spas, salons and aesthetic centers) that lets businesses and professionals manage appointments, services and clients, and lets users (clients) book appointments at registered businesses. The Service includes:

• Online booking and calendar system.
• Management of professionals, services and schedules.
• Automatic appointment reminders.
• Public directory of businesses in Colombia.
• Administration panel for business owners.

3. User accounts

To access certain features you must create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

By registering a business, you warrant that you have the legal authority to operate it and that the information provided is truthful and up to date.

4. Acceptable use

The following is prohibited:

• Using the Service for illegal or fraudulent activities.
• Publishing false or misleading information, or information that infringes third-party rights.
• Attempting to access other users' systems or data without authorization.
• Scraping, data mining or bulk extraction of content.
• Impersonating another person or business.

5. Bookings and cancellations

Bookings made through VARDER are direct agreements between the client and the business. VARDER acts as a technology intermediary and is not a party to that contractual relationship. Each business may set its own cancellation policy, which will be visible before the booking is confirmed.

6. Plans, payments and billing

VARDER offers a free plan and paid subscription plans. Payments are processed through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases made on the Service. This means:

• Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record for your subscription. The purchase agreement is entered into with Lemon Squeezy, not with VARDER, and the invoice is issued by Lemon Squeezy.
• Lemon Squeezy takes on the responsibility of calculating, collecting and remitting the taxes applicable to your purchase (VAT, sales tax and equivalents) in the relevant jurisdiction based on your location.
• Your payment details are collected and processed by Lemon Squeezy in its own checkout. VARDER never receives, sees or stores your card number.
• Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel them.
• Paid plans include a 14-day trial period. If you cancel before it ends, you are not charged.
• You can cancel at any time from the billing panel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for: you keep access to your plan until that date and your dashboard is not locked.
• Refund requests are handled through Lemon Squeezy under its policies; you can start one by contacting us.
• We may change prices. Changes do not affect the billing period in progress and are communicated in advance.

7. Intellectual property

The Service and its original content (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons and interfaces) are the exclusive property of VARDER and are protected by Colombian and international intellectual property law. No implied license over these rights is granted.

8. Limitation of liability

VARDER shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service. VARDER's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user over the preceding 12 months.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect when published on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute shall be resolved before the competent courts of Colombia.
